After watching this van at work for 21 years I finally got it bought ,Drove it for a short while and decided she needed a little attention and there is the start of the story.Went to the body shop april of 2007 since then it's had a complete V8 conversion,from radiator to the transmission.Now has the big doghouse ,new shifter,seat belts.Next was on to media blast.All bodywork done and she is in prime.All inside doors and jams are done in the final color RED,dash all cleaned up and painted.Just about time for her to come home.2/07/09 she left the body shop and drove home.After a couple months working on the 66 4/19/09 Its on the roaed !drove of and on all day ,what a drive,She is now a true driver.7/12/09 Brakes,front shocks,ujoints,door seals,hinge rebuilds,new seats,door lacthes,wheel bearings.lots more to do.12/13/2009 She drove off and on spring summer and some fall,Have all the goods to replace channel runs ,window fuzzies,vent window seals,and a good replacement driver window regulator and a new chrome rear bumper on the way.after christmas this will all be done!!
